World Mental Health Day 2020

On Friday 9th October we marked World Mental Health Day (held on Saturday 10th October) at the Infant and Junior Academies by inviting children and staff to come into school wearing anything yellow e.g. ribbons, socks, scarves, t-shirts, etc. We also took time to focus on this theme during the day; discussing signs of mental ill-health, learning about ways to share our worries, and about resilience and kindness.

As I am sure you will all agree, we think it is particularly important to highlight the importance of maintaining good mental health, especially in the current climate. See the World Health Organisation, World Mental Health Day website for more information.
