Year 6 pupils ‘climb’ Everest!

Marley in Marsh Harrier and Noah in Peregrine recently set themselves a challenge to virtually run to the top of Mount Everest (64km/40miles)!

For each distance-based exercise they completed, their markers would advance along the Conqueror map of Everest. They could walk, jog, run, cycle, or even swim.

To add an extra incentive, for every 20% of the distance ran a tree would be planted AND they could look at views of their current ‘location’ and receive virtual postcards!

Both boys completed this awesome challenge, and received well-deserved certificates and medals.
